Wolmanized wood shrinks, expands, twists and cups  with time and exposure to the elements of weather.

Nails alone simply aren't enough to secure connections.

I'm Nick Parvesse, of Decks By Design.

I started Decks By Design with one purpose in mind, well two really, but besides working in a skilled profession that I've loved and enjoyed for more than 25 years, to have a company that provides a unique service and experience for homeowners looking to not only add a deck to their home but an addition or extension of their home. Also for homeowners who may currently have a deck that might be looking to upgrade or expand their exsisting deck.

I wanted to provide a top notch service where our clients can get exactly what they want and deserve, regardless of any design or budget limitations or restraints they might encounter.

Deck installations are on the rise. And with all the new homes that have gone up over the past few years, before the current "economic meltdown" of course, the demand is growing.

With more and more families cutting back on expenses like vacations and staying home more.

The investment of a deck is more appealing and cost effective for most families.

But lets face it, building a deck is not cheap by any means.
